#### 4X Importation of security sensitive ammonium nitrate The importation into Australia of security sensitive ammonium nitrate (SSAN) is prohibited unless: (a) both of the following requirements are met: (i) permission (whether in the form of a licence or otherwise) for the importation of the SSAN has been granted in writing by an authority of the State or Territory where the SSAN is to be located immediately after importation; and (ii) the permission is produced to a Collector; or (b) permission to import the SSAN is not required under the law of the State or Territory where the SSAN is to be located immediately after importation.
