Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This by-law grants reduced or zero customs duty on imported traditional costumes for cultural and performing arts groups, making authentic dress cheaper for performances. It requires costumes to be authentic in design, made from the tradition’s materials, and imported by bona fide performing groups, so only genuine cultural outfits used for group performances qualify.
