#### 4A Minister may give directions to CEO (1) The Minister may give written directions to the CEO with respect to the general policy to be pursued in relation to the administration of the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service. (2) If the Minister gives a direction under subsection (1), the Minister must cause a copy of the direction to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after giving the direction. (3) The CEO must comply with all written directions given by the Minister under subsection (1).
