This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This instrument approves two specific customs forms—'Nature 30' and 'Nature 30 - Ex-Warehouse (Continuation)'—for businesses importing goods stored in Australian customs warehouses.
What it does It establishes the official paperwork required when moving goods from a customs warehouse into the Australian market (known as 'home consumption'). The approved forms cover:
Who it affects Customs brokers, importers, and warehouse operators who handle goods stored in bonded warehouses (secure storage facilities where imported goods are kept before final import approval and duty payment).
Why it matters Without this approval, these specific forms could not be used legally to declare warehoused goods to Customs. It ensures standardized documentation for tracking goods moving from storage into the Australian economy.
