3.01 Information technology requirements for communication

The information technology requirements in items 3.02 to 3.04 apply to a person who wishes to electronically communicate to Customs:

a) an import declaration under section 71A of the Act in respect of goods imported into Australia by ship or air;

b) a warehouse declaration under subsection 71DA of the Act in respect of goods imported into Australia by ship or air; or

c) a return under section 69 or section 70 of the Act in respect of goods imported into Australia by ship or air.
