Commonwealth legislation
This determination authorises the Perth Mint to produce a wide range of 2009–2010 commemorative and investment coins, updates metal‑purity and specification standards for existing issues, and creates several new high‑value denominations. It prescribes exact physical and design details for dozens of collector and bullion coins.
It affects collectors, precious‑metal investors and the Mint by legally enabling production, ensuring quality and purity standards, and reducing counterfeiting risk.
