89 Application of Part
(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Minister may grant a licence or renew
or extend the grant of a licence over land, including land on which
there is a building that is the property of the Territory.
(2) A licence may not be granted over land that is held under a lease
granted under this or any other Act.
(3) A licence granted, renewed or extended under this Part:
(a) is a licence to access, occupy or use the land; and
(b) may permit the licensee to take things which are the property
of the Territory from the land.
(4) The following must give consent for a licence under this Part before
the Minister grants the licence:
(a) for land that has been reserved for a purpose specified in
section 76(1) that is managed, regulated or controlled by a
person as directed by the Minister – the person;
(b) for land that has been reserved for which the Minister has
appointed persons to be trustees of the land under
section 79(1) – the trustees.
