54 Valuation of improvements
(1) Subject to this Act, where, under this Act, a person is entitled to
receive payment for or in respect of improvements on land, the
Minister shall require the Valuer-General to determine the value of
the improvements and the value so determined or, if the value is
varied under this Act, the value as finally determined under this Act,
is the value of those improvements for the purposes of ascertaining
the amount payable to the person for or in respect of those
improvements.
(2) Where the Valuer-General, under subsection (1), determines the
value of improvements, he or she shall give to the person entitled to
be paid notice, in writing, of the value, together with a plan showing
the improvements on the land.
