3 Definitions
In this Act:
additional royalty, see section 94A(1)(b).
agricultural development, in relation to land, means the
development of the land for the purpose of cultivation or mixed
farming and grazing and the use of the land for cultivation or mixed
farming and grazing, and includes such other activities as are
incidental or ancillary to that development or use of the land.
appropriate form, for an instrument, has the same meaning as in
the Land Title Act 2000.
Commission means the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the
Northern Territory established by the Parks and Wildlife
Commission Act 1980.
condition, in relation to a lease, includes a covenant and a term.
covenant has the same meaning as in Division 4 of Part 9 of the
Law of Property Act 2000.
covenant in gross has the same meaning as in Division 4 of Part 9
of the Law of Property Act 2000.
Crown Lands Act 1992 2
Crown lands means all lands of the Territory, including the bed of
the sea within the territorial limits of the Northern Territory, and
including an estate in fee simple that is registered in the name of
the Territory, but does not include reserved lands.
Darwin town area means the land described in the Schedule to the
Darwin Lands Acquisition Act 1945.
easement has the same meaning as in Division 2 of Part 9 of the
Law of Property Act 2000.
easement in gross has the same meaning as in Division 2 of
