14D Power of incorporated committees to lease land (1) Notwithstanding anything in this Act but subject to subsection (2), an incorporated committee may, with the consent of the Governor in Council, grant leases of any part of the reserved land for the purposes of providing facilities and services for the public. (2) A lease granted under subsection (1)— S. 14D(2)(a) amended by No. 40/2009 s. 5(a). (a) shall be for a specific term not exceeding 21 years; and S. 14D(2)(b) repealed by No. 40/2009 s. 5(b). (c) shall be subject to such covenants exceptions reservations and conditions as are determined by the incorporated committee and approved by the Minister. S. 14E inserted by No. 9551 s. 4.
