#### 46 Calculation of cultivation charge 46 Calculation of cultivation charge > The cultivation charge referred to in clause 44 (1) is to be calculated for a rural Western lands holding as follows— > > %20AND%20(No%3D0088)%20AND%20(Year%3D2018)%20AND%20(%22Historical%20Document%22%3D0))/g3.gif) > > > where— > > S represents the scaling factor for the financial year to which the rent relates. > > TC represents the number of hectares in the holding on which cultivation is permitted under the Act for a limited period of time pursuant to a cultivation consent under Part 5 of Schedule 3 to the Act, and k8 represents an amount of money per hectare specified by clause 50 for such land. > > PC represents the number of hectares in the holding on which cultivation is permitted under the Act indefinitely— > > > (a) pursuant to a lease for the purpose of agriculture, grazing and agriculture combined or mixed farming or any similar purpose or purposes, or > > > (b) pursuant to a cultivation consent under Part 5 of Schedule 3 to the Act, > > and k9 represents an amount of money per hectare specified by clause 50 for such land.
