#### 39 Modification of Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991 in its application to withdrawal of land from holding for public purposes 39 Modification of [Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1991-022) in its application to withdrawal of land from holding for public purposes > In determining compensation payable under section 7.8, the provisions of the [Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1991-022) are modified to the extent necessary to limit the amount of compensation payable for the withdrawal of land under that section to the value of any improvements made by the holder of the holding over the land as at the date of the withdrawal.
