#### 57 Minister may rectify contravention and recover costs 57 Minister may rectify contravention and recover costs > > (1) If a person does not take any of the measures specified by a notice under clause 56 within the period required by the notice, the Minister may, by the Minister’s agents or contractors, enter the land concerned and take those measures. > > > (2) Any costs incurred by the Minister in taking any of those measures— > > > > > (a) may be recovered by the Minister from the person as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction, and > > > > > (b) are a charge on the land concerned until the costs are paid to or recovered by the Minister.
