#### 44 Grant of cultivation consent 44 Grant of cultivation consent > > (1) The Minister may refuse or grant an application for a cultivation consent for specified applicable Western land. > > > (2) A cultivation consent must be in writing. > > > (3) A cultivation consent may be granted unconditionally or subject to any conditions (cultivation conditions) that the Minister may decide to specify in the consent. > > > (4) A cultivation consent remains in force for the period (if any) specified in the consent, unless it is revoked, suspended or surrendered sooner. > > > (5) The regulations may make provision for or with respect to the payment of fees for cultivation consents.
