#### 29 Occupancy after expiry of special lease for term 29 Occupancy after expiry of special lease for term > A holder of a continued special lease for a term who, with the Minister’s consent, remains in possession of the leased land after the lease expires does so as a lessee from month to month at a monthly rent of one-twelfth of the annual rent, and subject to the conditions, applicable to the lease immediately before it expired.
