sec.39 Leave of absence
The Minister may— approve a leave of absence for the chairperson or deputy chairperson; and appoint someone else to act in the office of the deputy chairperson while the deputy chairperson is absent on leave. The chairperson may— approve a leave of absence for an appointed board member, other than the chairperson or deputy chairperson; and appoint someone else to act in the office of the appointed board member while the member is absent on leave. (sec.39-ssec.1) The Minister may— approve a leave of absence for the chairperson or deputy chairperson; and appoint someone else to act in the office of the deputy chairperson while the deputy chairperson is absent on leave. (sec.39-ssec.2) The chairperson may— approve a leave of absence for an appointed board member, other than the chairperson or deputy chairperson; and appoint someone else to act in the office of the appointed board member while the member is absent on leave.
- (a) approve a leave of absence for the chairperson or deputy chairperson; and
- (b) appoint someone else to act in the office of the deputy chairperson while the deputy chairperson is absent on leave.
