147 Enforcing compliance with Act or court order (1) If a person fails to take any action necessary to comply with or give effect to this Act or an order under this Act: (a) at the direction of the Supreme Court or a judge, a Registrar of the Supreme Court may take the necessary action; and (b) the action of the Registrar has effect for all purposes as if it had been done by the person. (2) The person who failed to take an action is liable to pay any costs incurred as a result of the Registrar taking the action under subsection (1) and the costs are recoverable by the Territory as a debt due and payable.
