455 Transitional provision—Justice Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2020 (1) Section 54 as amended by the **Justice Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2020** applies in respect of an offence alleged to have been committed on or after the day on which the amendment comes into operation during, or in connection with, a summary case conference. (2) Section 127 as amended by the **Justice Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2020** applies in respect of an offence alleged to have been committed on or after the day on which the amendment comes into operation during, or in connection with, a committal case conference. (3) Item 4.6 of Schedule 2 as substituted by section 9 of the **Justice Legislation Miscellaneous Amendments Act 2020** applies to a criminal proceeding commenced on or after the commencement of section 9 of that Act, irrespective of when the offence is alleged to have been committed.
