389B Ground rules hearing to be held S. 389B(1) amended by No. 38/2022 s. 71(1). (1) The court may direct that a ground rules hearing is to be held. Section 337(1) enables this direction to be made by the court on the application of a party or on its own motion. (2) An application for the court to direct that a ground rules hearing is to be held may be made orally or in writing. S. 389B(3) substituted by No. 38/2022 s. 71(2). (3) A ground rules hearing must be held if— (a) an intermediary is appointed under Division 2; or (b) a witness is a complainant in relation to a charge for a sexual offence.
