387C Definitions (1) In this Division— ***family violence offence*** means— (a) an offence against section 37(2), 37A(2), 123(2), 123A(2) or 125A(1) of the **Family Violence Protection Act 2008**; or (b) an offence where the conduct of the accused is family violence within the meaning of that Act; ***recorded statement*** means an audiovisual or audio recording of a complainant answering questions put to the complainant by a trained police officer; ***trained police officer*** means a police officer who has successfully completed a training course approved by the Chief Commissioner of Police under subsection (2). (2) The Chief Commissioner of Police may approve one or more training courses for police officers for the purposes of this Division. S. 387D inserted by No. 33/2018 s. 116.
