327I Extension of time for filing or serving notice of application (1) The Court of Appeal or, in accordance with the rules of court, the Registrar of Criminal Appeals of the Supreme Court at any time may extend the time within which— (a) a notice of application under section 327H may be filed; or (b) a notice referred to in paragraph (a) may be served— if the court or Registrar considers that it is in the interests of justice to do so. S. 327I(2) amended by No. 48/2012 s. 9(1). (2) The power of the Court of Appeal to extend time under this section may be exercised by the Court of Appeal constituted by a single Judge of Appeal. S. 327I(3) amended by No. 48/2012 s. 9(2). (3) If the Court of Appeal constituted by a single Judge of Appeal or the Registrar of Criminal Appeals of the Supreme Court refuses an application to extend time under subsection (1), the DPP is entitled to have the Court of Appeal constituted by 2 or more Judges of Appeal determine the application.
