326F Stay of sentence and bail pending appeal (1) If a notice of application for leave to appeal is filed under section 326B, the Court of Appeal may stay a sentence if satisfied that it is in the interests of justice to do so. (2) A prisoner within the meaning of the **Corrections Act 1986** who applies for leave to appeal to the Court of Appeal under this Part may apply to the Court of Appeal to be granted bail. (3) On an application under subsection (2), the Court of Appeal may grant the prisoner bail pending the appeal. S. 326G inserted by No. 44/2019 s. 35.
