316 Trial judge may be required to provide report on appeal (1) For the purposes of this Part, the Registrar of Criminal Appeals of the Supreme Court may require a trial judge to provide to the Registrar a report on a case tried by the judge, giving the opinion of the trial judge on the case or on any point arising in the case. (2) A trial judge must comply with a requirement under subsection (1) in accordance with the rules of court.
