123 No cross-examination in certain proceedings
S. 123(1) substituted by Nos 38/2022 s. 67, 5/2025 s. 11(2).
(1) This section applies to a proceeding that relates (wholly or partly) to a charge for—
(c) an offence against section 21A(1) of the **Crimes Act 1958** (stalking).
(2) Despite anything to the contrary in this Part, the Magistrates' Court must not grant leave to cross-examine any witness in a proceeding to which this section applies.
