112 Rules with respect to statements (1) A statement that the informant intends to tender in a committal proceeding must be— (b) signed by the person making the statement and must contain an acknowledgment signed by that person in the presence of a person referred to in Schedule 3 that the statement is true and correct and is made in the belief that a person making a false statement in the circumstances is liable to the penalties of perjury; or (2) If a person under the age of 18 years makes a statement that the informant intends to tender in a committal proceeding, the statement must include the person's age. (3) If a person who cannot read makes a statement that the informant intends to tender in a committal proceeding— (a) the statement must be read to the person before he or she signs it; and (b) the acknowledgment must state that the statement was read to the person before he or she signed it.
