702 Aggravated perjury (1) A person commits an offence (aggravated perjury) if— (a) the person makes a sworn statement in a legal proceeding with the intention of procuring the person’s or someone else’s conviction for, or acquittal of, an offence (the relevant offence); and (c) the statement is false; and (d) the person is reckless about whether the statement is false.
