348 Possessing false document A person commits an offence if the person has in the person’s possession a false document, knowing that it is false, with the intention that the person or someone else will use it— (a) to dishonestly induce another person (C) to accept it as genuine; and (b) because C accepts it as genuine, to dishonestly— (i) obtain a gain; or (ii) cause a loss; or (iii) influence the exercise of a public duty.
