346 Forgery A person commits an offence (forgery) if the person makes a false document with the intention that the person or someone else will use it— (a) to dishonestly induce another person (C) to accept it as genuine; and (b) because C accepts it as genuine, to dishonestly— (i) obtain a gain; or (ii) cause a loss; or (iii) influence the exercise of a public duty.
