60 Legislative Assembly member receiving bribe Any person who, being a member of the Legislative Assembly, solicits, receives or obtains, or agrees to receive or obtain, property or a benefit of any kind for himself or another, upon the understanding that the exercise by the member of his duty or authority as a member shall be in any way influenced or affected, is guilty of a crime and is liable to imprisonment for 7 years.
