58 Influencing Legislative Assembly member Any person who, directly or indirectly, by force, deception, threat or intimidation of any kind, influences a member of the Legislative Assembly in the exercise of his duty or authority as a member of, or induces him to absent himself from, the Legislative Assembly or a committee of the Legislative Assembly, is guilty of a crime and is liable to imprisonment for 7 years.
