467 Cessation of proceedings (1) This section applies in relation to any offence committed or alleged to have been committed by a child under 12 years of age before the end date. (2) No criminal process may be started in relation to the offence. (3) Any criminal process in relation to the offence is discontinued. (4) The child is discharged from any ongoing order or obligation in relation to the offence. (5) All conditions imposed under section 27 of the Bail Act 1982 in relation to the offence are discontinued. (6) To avoid doubt, this section does not apply in relation to a person 12 years of age or older who committed or is alleged to have committed an offence with a child under 12 years of age.
