457 Application of section 79 as inserted by amending Act (1) If, before the commencement, there was a failure to disclose a private interest in a company, section 79 as in force immediately before the commencement applies in relation to that failure. (2) If, before the commencement, there was a failure to disclose a private interest in property, manufacture, trade or business, section 80 as in force immediately before the commencement applies in relation to that failure. (3) Section 79 as in force after the commencement applies to a failure to disclose a private interest after the commencement irrespective of whether that failure began before or after the commencement. (4) Section 79, as inserted by the amending Act, applies in relation to offences committed after the commencement.
