391 Remission of charge to Local Court (1) This section applies if a charge of a summarily-triable offence laid against a person has been transmitted to a Registrar of the Supreme Court under section 390. (2) The Supreme Court must direct that the charge be heard and determined by the Local Court and remit the charge to a registrar of the Local Court if: (a) the person pleads not guilty to the charge before the Court; or (b) the Court decides for any other reason not to hear and determine the charge.
