310 Circumstances where more than one offence may be charged as one offence In an indictment against a person for an assault the accused person may be charged and proceeded against notwithstanding that such assault is alleged to be constituted by a number of assaults provided they were committed on the same person in the prosecution of a single purpose or at about the same time.
