235 Alternative verdict for offence against section 230 (1) In a proceeding against a person charged with an offence against section 230, the trier of fact may find the person not guilty of the offence against that section but guilty of an alternative offence if the trier of fact: committed an offence against section 230; and committed an offence against the alternative offence. alternative offence means an offence against section 231 or 232.
