202 Abduction of child under 16 years (1) Any person who takes a child who is under the age of 16 years out of the custody or protection of that child's parent or other person having the lawful care or charge of the child and against the will of the parent or other person is guilty of an offence and is liable to (2) If the offender is an adult or if the child is under the age of 14 years, he is liable to imprisonment for 7 years. (3) It is immaterial that the offender believes the child to be of or above the age of 16 years or 14 years.
