421 Ex officio indictments
*[Section 421 Substituted by No. 38 of 1963, s. 11 ]*Where an indictment is filed by a Crown Law Officer against a person who has not been committed for trial for the offence charged in the indictment, the Crown may, without any leave, by filing an indictment described as an ex officio indictment, proceed thereon in the manner prescribed in this chapter.
