> > (1) An offender’s non-association order or place restriction order is suspended—
> >
> > > (a) while the offender is in lawful custody (otherwise than while unescorted as referred to in section 38 (2) (a) of the [Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-093)), and
> >
> > > (b) while the offender is under the immediate supervision of a person employed in the Department of Justice pursuant to a condition of leave imposed under section 24 of the [Children (Detention Centres) Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-057).
