15 Fines—maximum amounts
The maximum fine that a court may impose for an offence is—
(a) if the offence is punishable by a fine otherwise than under this
part—the maximum amount fixed for the fine; or
(b) in any other case—
(i) if the Supreme Court makes the order—$10 000; or
(ii) if the Magistrates Court makes the order—$2 000.
