136 Information exchanges between criminal justice entities
(1) This section applies to any information in relation to an offence
(including an alleged offence) in a record of a criminal justice entity,
including information about—
(a) a person charged with the offence; and
(b) a victim of the offence; and
(c) a person convicted or found guilty of the offence.
(2) The criminal justice entity may give the information to another
criminal justice entity for the purposes of the other entity.

made or in force under the Act, including any regulation (see Legislation
Act, s 104).
criminal justice entity means any of the following:
(a) the Supreme Court;
(b) the Magistrates Court;
(c) the director-general responsible for this Act;
(d) the CYP director-general;
(e) the sentence administration board;
(f) the director of public prosecutions;
(g) the chief police officer;
(h) the victims of crime commissioner;
(i) any other entity prescribed by regulation.
