311 Release on licence—notice of board’s decision on review (1) The board must give written notice of a decision under section 308 (Board powers—review of release on licence) in relation to an offender to each of the following: (2) If the decision is to cancel the offender’s licence, the notice of the decision must state where and when the offender must report for full- time detention because of the cancellation. (3) The notice must include— (a) the board’s reasons for the decision; and (b) the date when the decision takes effect. (4) The director-general may also give notice of the board’s decision to any other entity the director-general considers appropriate. (5) If the decision is to cancel the offender’s licence, the board must also take reasonable steps to give each relevant victim under section 298 (Release on licence—notice of Executive decision) notice of the cancellation.
