295 Release on licence—decision by Executive (1) In deciding whether to release an offender on licence, the Executive— (a) must consider any recommendation by the board under section 294 and its reasons for the recommendation; and (b) may consider anything else it considers appropriate. (2) The Executive may grant, or refuse to grant, the offender a licence to be released from imprisonment under the offender’s sentence. (3) The Executive may impose any condition it considers appropriate on a licence.
