241 Interstate transfer—transfer of sentence with prisoner (1) This section applies to a prisoner if, under an order of transfer, the prisoner is transferred to a participating state or non-participating territory. (2) From the time the prisoner arrives in the State or Territory, any ACT sentence of imprisonment, including a translated sentence, to which the prisoner is subject ceases to have effect in the ACT except— (a) for the purpose of an appeal against, or review of, a conviction, judgment, sentence or order of an ACT court; or (b) in relation to any period of imprisonment served by the prisoner in the ACT; or (c) in relation to any remittance to the Minister of an amount paid in discharge (or partial discharge) of a sentence of default imprisonment originally imposed on the prisoner by an ACT
