230 Interstate transfer—order for prisoner to be brought before Magistrates Court (1) If the Magistrates Court is satisfied that section 229 (1) applies in relation to a prisoner, the court must, by written order, direct the person in charge of the prison where the prisoner is being held to bring the prisoner before the court at a stated place and time for a decision about whether an order of transfer should be issued for the (2) Notice of the order must be served on the Attorney-General and on the prisoner. (3) At a hearing under the order— (a) the prisoner is entitled to be represented by a lawyer; and (b) the Attorney-General is entitled to appear or to be represented.
