220 Interstate transfer—effect of warrant of commitment issued by justice of the peace If a justice of the peace of a participating state, in the exercise of his or her powers, issues a warrant of commitment while not constituting a court, the sentence of imprisonment imposed by the warrant is taken, for this part, to have been imposed by a court.
