76C Extension of time for filing notice of appeal
S. 76C(1) amended by Nos 34/2010 s. 48, 81/2011 s. 22(4), 55/2014 s. 130(1).
(1) The Court of Appeal, or, in accordance with the rules of court, the Registrar of Criminal Appeals of the Supreme Court at any time may extend the time within which a notice of appeal may be filed under this Act (other than Part 5A).
(2) If the Registrar of Criminal Appeals of the Supreme Court refuses an application to extend time under subsection (1), the applicant is entitled to have the Court of Appeal determine the application.

(3) The County Court or the Trial Division of the Supreme Court at any time may extend the time within which a notice of appeal may be filed under Part 5A.
