49 What types of leave may be granted? The types of leave of absence that may be granted to a forensic patient or forensic resident are— (a) special leave of absence; (b) on-ground leave; (c) limited off-ground leave; S. 49(d) amended by No. 44/2004 s. 9(1), substituted by No. 69/2005 s. 27(1)(b). (d) extended leave. Note to s. 49 inserted by No. 69/2005 s. 27(1)(c). Some forensic patients and forensic residents cannot be granted extended leave—see section 57(4).
