46 Suspect may be prevented from destroying or
contaminating evidence
(1) Any police officer may, while waiting for the application seeking an
interim order to be decided, use reasonable force to prevent the
suspect destroying any evidence that might be obtained by carrying
out the forensic procedure if the order is made.
(2) This section does not authorise anyone to carry out a forensic
procedure before an interim order is made.
