11 Meaning of investigating police officer
An investigating police officer, for an offence in relation to which a
forensic procedure is carried out or proposed to be carried out, is—
(a) the police officer in charge of the investigation of the offence;
or
(b) any other police officer directed by the police officer in charge
to do something in relation to the investigation.
