#### 37A Service of public notice 37A Service of public notice > > (1) This section applies if service by the Commissioner of an application or other thing by public notice is required. > > > (2) For service by public notice to be effective, the Commissioner must publish a notice in a newspaper circulating throughout the State. > > > (3) The notice need only state the following— > > > > > (a) the general nature of the application or other thing, > > > > > (b) details to the extent practicable of the respondent or other person for whom the notice was made, > > > > > (c) how copies of any relevant affidavit or other material may be obtained or read. > > **s 37A:** Ins 2013 No 12, Sch 1 \[15\].
